Notice for Instructing/Coaching

Terms and Conditions Relating to Coaching or Instructing at Coronet Peak, Mt Hutt & The Remarkables Ski Areas

Planning and preparation are the keys to having a safe and enjoyable winter holiday in the snow. When you are planning it is important to not only organise your clothes and equipment, but to also consider improving your fitness!


Regardless of whether there is a fee involved or not, a person cannot:

  • Coach, instruct or demonstrate any snowsports activity (including but not limited to skiing & snowboard) to another person or persons within the licensed area of Coronet Peak, Mt Hutt and The Remarkables Ski Areas. Approval is at the discretion of Ski Area Management.
  • Take video footage for instruction or coaching purposes within the licensed area of Coronet Peak, Mt Hutt and The Remarkables.


Exceptions are made if you are teaching direct family members and you are not a qualified instructor (e.g. father and son).
